Welcome to the home page and the family of Troop 414.
We are a troop
dedicated to fun, adventure, and good living. This web site was compiled
to provide information about Troop 414 and its activities. Please
use it often.
This troop enjoys nights in tents with nothing but the sound of
crickets. The boys take hikes to places accessible only by foot.
But most of all, they create friendships that will last a lifetime.
During the boys' adventure with Troop 414, they cross the bridge
from boy to man and learn to live the Scout Oath.
On my honor I will do my best
To do my duty to God and my country
and to obey the Scout Law;
To help other people at all times;
To keep myself physically strong,
mentally awake, and morally straight.
We hope you will join your son and become an active part of our
troop. You will learn more about Scouting and more importantly, your
son. We meet at the El Dorado Clubhouse every Wednesday from 7 pm
to 8:30 pm. Everyone is welcome.
On behalf of the Troop 414 family, we welcome you and your son to
Scouting.
Mark Sward, Scoutmaster Troop 414
I look at Scouting and say, if everybody embraced this creed,
we would have a healthier America.
